National Festival – ‘Independence Day’ is celebrated every year, with a great joy and thought:

“Freedom in the Mind…
Faith in the Words…
Pride in our Souls…
Let’s salute those great men,
Who made this possible.”

                All the students gathered on the ground at 7:30a.m Mrs. Pushpa A. Nair, the senior teacher of our school, was the Chief Guest of the function Mrs. Pushpa teacher was escorted to the flag post and flag was hoisted. National Anthem was played on band and all saluted the tricolour with great respect and honor. March past was conducted by the N.C.C. boys and girls.

                Prayer dance was performed by std VI and VII students. Speech in English was delivered by Miss. Veena Velankar from class X. Patriotic song was sung by students followed by patriotic dance. An act on ‘Kargil War’ was presented. Speech in Marathi was given by Mr. Ishaan katare of class VI.

                The Chief Guest Mrs. Pushpa expressed her views. At the end of the programmme, Sweets were distributed to the students and they dispersed with cheer and joy.
