The Republic Day was celebrated as every year, with a great pomp. Patriotic songs were being played since early morning. The Chief Guest of the ceremony was Dr. Atul Nene. He hoisted the flag and all saluted the Tricolour with respect, along with National Anthem on band. March past was conducted by N.C.C. students.

            The chief Guest was then escorted towards the stage. After introduction of the Chief Guest, felicitation was done.

            Prayer dance was performed by std VII students. Speech in English was given by Surabhi Deshpande(IX). Mr. Mayur recalled the sacrifice of great leaders of India, Praising them through his patriotic song. Speech in Marathi was Delivered by Miss. Arya Shivsharan std VIII.  A thrilling performance of patriotic dance was given by students of std VIII & IX. Prize distribution was one of the part. Academic prizes of year 2016-2017 were distributed by the chief Guest, our Principal Rev. Sr. Telma and sister superior Sr. Yvonne. Dr. Nene expressed his views through his speech.

            ‘Vote of Thanks’ was given by Mrs. Lata. The programme ended by sweet distribution.
