Grandparents are like shady trees that has an ever welcoming attitude towards life. They look like the happiest individuals on this world, when they spend time with their grandchildren.

            Keeping this thought in mind, our Principal, Rev. Sr. Alphonsa initiated the task of celebrating ‘Grandparents Day’. This was restricted to only Std X students.

The programme was arranged in the auditorium. Grandparents were welcomed by the students. Chief Guest of the programme was Mr. Kashinath Naik, grandfather of Ms. Yashoda Naik (Student of Std X). The programme began with ‘Lighting of Lamp’ followed by Prayer Service. The chief guest was introduced by our Supervisor Mrs. Kausar and felicitated by our Principal. Importance of grandparents was explained by Mr. Vikas in his ‘Welcome Speech’. Cultural programme for entertainment of grandparents was arranged by the students. It began with the wishing song followed by Boy’s dance, Girls dance and a skit. The Chief Guest expressed his gratitude in his speech. Few grandparents willingly spoke and thanked our Principal.

            Gifts brought by students were given by them to their grandparents. The programme ended with National Anthem.
