Independence Day is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm. The theme for the day was: “My Country My Pride”

The Chief Guest of the function was out Manager – Rev. Sr. Agnes. The Chief Guest, our Principal, Vice- Principal and other sisters were welcomed with the ‘Aarti’ and were escorted towards the flag post. Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest. Teachers and students saluted the National flag with respect and honour. National Anthem was played. March past was presented by the N.C.C Troop.

The Guest and sisters were proceeded to the stage. Prayer service was offered by the staff members. Patriotic song was sung by the choir. Presentation by the primary section was very attractive. Speech in Hindi was given by  Miss. Zara – student of std IX. Karate Demonstration was thrilling that was performed by Ms. Anuradha Thorat and her students. A documentary presentation was given by High School students showing the sacrifice of our four Hutatmas  of solapur.

Sr. Agnes was happy and appreciated the programme in her speech. Our Principal Sr. Alphonsa addressed the students on their special occassin. Vote of thanks was given by Mr. John. Students dispersed after sweet distribution.
